Srikant Sastri is responsible for providing strategic leadership & organizational vision at SOLUTIONS Integrated Marketing Services. He founded the company in 1995 and played a pivotal role in making the company the leader in the field of integrated marketing services in India, besides creating a pan-Asia footprint. In early 2006, he led SOLUTIONS into a strategic relationship with the Publicis Groupe, which acquired a 60% stake.
Under Srikant’s leadership, SOLUTIONS has consistently offered high-quality services – spanning direct, interactive, promotions & shopper marketing – to clients such as HP, Microsoft, Aviva, Gillette, Pepsi, Philips and Sony-Ericcson. This work has been acclaimed and awarded at prestigious forums such as Globes, PMAA, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, and Abby’s. For two years in a row, in 2006 & 2007, SOLUTIONS has won the ‘Best in India’ trophy, at PMAA.
Prior to founding SOLUTIONS, Srikant was CEO and Founder, RESULT McCann. Here, he was instrumental in creating the concept of marketing services. Previously, as Account Director with McCann-Erickson, Srikant was responsible for managing communications strategies for MNCs like Nestle and Gillette. He also worked as a Sales Manager with Unilever, where he was credited with several innovations in sales & distribution management.
Srikant earned an engineering degree from IIT, Kanpur and a post-graduate qualification in management from IIM, Calcutta.
While his interests include current affairs, contemporary history, and the impact of economic growth on poverty elimination, Srikant is really passionate about his belief that, to be a global power in this century, all Indians need to see the benefits of development. To that end, he has initiated a mass, social movement-‘Growth-for-All’.
Widely traveled across Asia, US & Europe, Srikant is currently focused on crafting the next decade of growth for Solutions.
